Confinement nannies from SG/Malaysia

Hi there,
does anybody here hv any experience with employing confinement nannies over from SG or Malaysia? Are there any legal/documentary issues we hv to look out for? Thanks!
 
dear woodstock, is it that straightforward? that would be great! saves me plenty of worrying.. by the way, would you mind telling me the price range u paid for her services and how long ago that was? i m getting one from SG soon and thought the price she quoted to be somewhat hefty..thanks!
 
The confinement nanny may have entered as a tourist, but she is coming to HK to work, so she should probably have had a work permit. If she doesn't have a work permit and Immigration discovers that she is actually here to work and not a tourist, then you run the risk of her being denied entry and sent back home.
