confinement lady in hong kong

i am 17 weeks pregnant now and am from malaysia. i am worried because i can't get help during my confinement period after the baby is born because my parents are to old to travel to hong kong. confinement lady is very popular in malaysia, does anyone know if there are any in hong kong and how much they costs? my husband and i are not very keen on a maid, we just need temporary help during the 40 days when i am recovering from my delivery. your information is very much appreciated.

I have a number you can call and i'm pretty sure they have these ladies but they probably all speak cantonese. if that's ok with you then call 2776-2900 or www.homeasy.com.hk.

I am Janet from Malaysia too, i'm here because my husband relocated in Hong Kong, now i'm in 10 week pregnant, have not decide deliver in Hong Kong or Penang, Malaysia yet, which hospital you plan to deliver ? I hope to keep in touch with you :) i'm new here : ) I came here for 2 month plus only.

Saw your message and then read Janet123's mail too. I've just elocated rom Malaysia and am 29 weeks pregnant. I seem to be in a similar predicament as yours as I am having problems trying to get visa extension for my mil who was goin to stay on to assist during te delivery, as i have a 5 year old too.
Thanks to you I am also looking at the options given by Rani.
