Combined Baby Shower in June - "Kris Kringle" Style

I Was wondering if anyone would like to have the baby shower in Stanley. I can arranged a great set menu on one of the waterfront restaurant, to a reasonable price. Also, it would be great if we could bring our husbands along, so they get a chance to talk to each other. There are also telly in this restaurant, just in case some of the guys don?t want to miss the football. So no excuse from the men. What do you all think?

Hi ladies!

It's a great idea Superhappy! But alas, as there will be mums coming from all over HK and some others who will have to wait for their hubbies to return from work, I think we should be keep the event centralised. It'd be nice to see working and non-working mums from all territories that day too.

I will be coming from a Parent-Teacher's Meet and would be hard pressed for time on that day to make it to Stanley. And I just received an email from another mum who needs to come from Lantau.

Venues are limited in Central - the ones who do not need to accept credit card guarantees. So I'm down to two options for mums who need to take ferries and mums coming from Kowloon and N.T.

(1) A Simple Life - IFC (Not as pricey as Isola)
(2) Wildfire - Staunton St. (Nice private corner)

If you do know of any other restaurant within the IFC/Soho area (easy access by the mid-levels escalator and abundance of taxis), please give me a shout. I will give them a ring.

Simply Life can't accomodate us without splitting us up.
There were requests to keep it centrally located and everyone who turned up for lunch was happy with IFC. I'm only trying to keep the costs low.

So Union Bar has stepped in. The event manager there is going to get back to me about a menu (no more than $250 per person including drinks - non-alcoholic and I requested caffeine free).

Here's the finalised venue for our Baby Shower:

Venue: Union Bar, IFC
Time: 7:30 til as late as you want it to be.
Date: 17th June 2010 (Thursday)

I have not been able to meet up with you yet since I have been overseas for over 2 months now. Just got back to Hong Kong. I would love to join the baby shower if it's possible to squeeze one more person in?
