Hi dear mothers!

I really need help. Last night my 2 months 3weeks baby screamed and was having colic symptoms(just feed formular(aptamil),high pitched cry, stretching his legs and clenching his fist )I could see he is in lots of pain. I felt very helpless and was wondering how to help him. It started at 6pm and calmed down then at 8pm and we gave him some calpol and he slept till 11pm took milk then wailed abit and slept till 4am some milk and slept till 9am.

I stay in TST and dont know of a near emergency baby clinic that is opend at night. The Yau Ma Tei one closes for the day by 6 pm. What if I need to rush the baby to hospital where do I go Any Idea?

I try to find out information about it on the net but wish to hear from and experienced mother and what they did to ease the pain.

Am I the only one who experiences this and if not, anyhelp is highly welcomed.

Plz help!

Are you sure is colic ? If so, Infacol definitely can help. You can get Infacol in all the chemist e.g. watson

My baby had two nights like yours when she was 1.5months, I started her with Infacol, just work like magic, all symtoms goes away within half a day. She now is 6.5 months and is a very happy baby.

There are threads on the forum discuss about how to treat colicky baby. Like, tilt the head of the bed up, massage.....etc. I also did all of them.

Just for your information, the closet ER in TST is Queen Elizabeth Hospital(Government) and I think either St. Teresa/ Baptist Hospital are the closest private hospitals, both of them have 24hrs services.

My baby also had a lot of colic when she was younger. I tried gripe water, infacol, tilting, warm bath and massaging and all didn't work on her. Dr. Yvonne Ou recommended giving us an enzyme called Colief which apparently helps digest formula/breastmilk....and it worked. You may want to check into that...

My baby had colic when he was 2 mths old. My doctor give me Infacol, and take three drops every feeding. I gave him for three days and stop until happen again. Also I massage his tummy when you feel there is gas.

Most important is burping clearly. I will burp him twice each feeding. Probably, when the baby grow up, it will be better.
