Coccyx Pain

Hi
My youngest is almost 11 months old - about 2 months ago I started having really bad pain around the Coccyx area - hurts when I stand from sitting, once I am up there is a slight pain there but whilst sitting or moving it hurts quite a lot. There is also a throbbing pain around the area and is really sore.
I went to a dr who did a full blood test and that all came back clear, he then sent me to another dr who did a colonoscopy and the results from that were fine. I now have to go for an MRI scan to see if there is anything with the bones etc.
Anyone had similar pain or anything?

Have you considered seeing a physiotherapist? I had coccyx pain and my physio cured it in one maybe two visits.
 
Thanks - I have seen a physio, maybe I will try a different one though. I have heard that the pain is quite common during pregnancy and afterwards, it's just strange that the pain only started 2 months ago when my little one is 9 months old - I was all set for exercising again too to lose these extra pounds I put on!
Oh well - maybe later.

I'm in the same situation as you, back pain, difficulties to walk and stand, I feel like I'm 90 years old when I get up !!
My son is 11 months now, I know it can also be because we have to bend more often to carry the baby, or also carry him on the hips... but I feel this is different, more in the bones.
Did you find a solution for your problem ?
