I haven't tried them but they look good. I recently got a Happy Heinys which is excellent and a similar idea to bumwear, I got it from www.nappypooh.com

I've seen a bumwear in action on a little boy I met at a cloth nappy workshop. They are nice prints.

Thanks hkaussie,
Since bumwear sells only one size I wanted to know if it is effective for a newborn..snug fitting around the legs etc.

scr,
I've used them on my baby girl since she was 6 weeks old (not quite newborn, I know) on the smallest setting and it was ok. She's 18 months now and still wearing them, so yes, I'm very happy with them.

I think they're the best selling cloth diapers here in Singapore. I say that because almost everyone that cloth diaper here wears Bumwear.

Hi Sophie - could you advise when is ur next workshop on the cloth diaper? also, how do we deal with baby's poop poop when they use cloth diaper? I imagine it will be very messy?

Hi msmslau - how to deal with poopoo ;) THE question :)

First of all, if your baby is completely breastfed, baby's poo is very liquid, you can just ignore it and 'leave it' as it will completely come off in the washing. If you notice some stains once washed, they will come out from themselves after some other washing. If you can let them dry in the sun, even better as the sun is a natural 'whitener'.

As soon as your baby starts eating solids, the poo will be more consistent and then you have different options:

1) to use a fleece liner (or any diaper with fleece inner) - from which poo detachs very easily, it sort of rolls out actually without having to do anything special. besides, you can just hold it over the toilet and just drop it.

2) to use disposable detachable liners which you will just drop inside the toilet.

I would indeed explain (and show!) all this during the diaper workshop, which next one is planned for.. probably sometime in August. Honestly speaking, I was thinking of having a summer break but since we already received quite some requests, we are trying to arrange the next around mid-August.

Scr- I think I have responded to your question in another forum.

Happy nappying:)
Sophie

thanks sophie,
My baby is due in november. I'd definitely be interested in attending your workshop. Nothing like actually seeing the product before buying. I don't plan to buy a whole lot from Bumwear but still buying without having a look at it is what is preventing me from buying even one.

Could you please let me know as well when the next workshop is due ? Can I send you an email ?
Thanks again.
