Clear fetal sac...natural miscarriage tips needed!

Hi mums - mums to be...

I just came back from my 1st scan and had the bad surprise to find out a clear (empty) sac in my uterus (no embryo has developed).
Last periods were July 7th, positive pregnancy test on August 4th so supposedly 9 weeks pregnant, but with no baby!

My obstetrician gives me until next thursday to have a natural miscarriage before talking D&C. I would really like to avoid a D&C and go all natural! I'm looking for any good tips/advice of natural miscarriage induction to help my body do its job.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

IVF clinics always tell you not to eat papaya after an embryo transfer; apparently it can induce miscarriage. Google it and there's quite a lot on it, e.g. Fruits that cause miscarriage

I was also told recently after an embryo transfer not to eat bananas either, but I hadn't heard that before. And i believe that in Chinese culture you are advised to eat "warm" foods rather than "hot" or "cold" - but I may have those mixed up.

Having said that, on having a quick search, I did find contrary opinion to all of this on pregnancy myth buster website. However, I think if the obviously highly scientific IVF clinics insist on no papaya, then there may be something in it.

Sorry for your situation anyway; very sad.
