I'm having a baby boy in 4 weeks at QM and am having a circumcision for my son.
QM does not do circumcision, does any know where i can get this done here?

The public system would not do it unless its for medical reason. You can only get it done in the private hospital. I know there is some clinic in central that can do it in the clinic they have the facilities there. My son did his when I gave birth to him in the private hospital.

Mine did it on the 3rd or 4th day after birth, at the private hospital. I think it's better do it earlier than later coz the wound is small tends to recover more quickly (he came out from the operation room after 20 min and he didn't seem to feel annoyed about the small wound thereafter)

By the time you realize that he really needs to perform it due to medical reasons (maybe by the age of 6 or so) it'll be a real pain for him to go through this operation. And it takes like a few weeks for the wound to fully recover...

Of course, check with your doc first to see if it's really necessary.
 
yes, they do in public system like in pwh. but you will get a appointment by 1 to 2 yrs time. my baby born in 2006 and given appointment in 2008 for checkup n its being done this september.

Dr Rulin Fuong at Central Health does them, she is very good. Her Number is 2824 0822

My son had his done six months' back and it healed very well. She is very patient and I highly recommend her. I think she likes to do them within two weeks of birth but you should check with her first.

It's about $13K all in and you have to go to Matilda to get it done.
