Circumcision POW? Help please.....

We don't know if bump is a boy or a girl yet but if a boy then we will definitely circumcise.

Has anyone else done this in HK? With our first at "home" we did it at 4 weeks, we would rather do it much earlier.

Any recommendations where or who to go to, how much does it cost in HK? Is it possible to do it at POW (this is where we are booked for the birth - public.)

I know if you give birth in a private hospital the pedietrician will circumcise the baby as soon as they are born- costs approx. HK$10,000.
Sorry don't know about in public sector.
 
not very common in HK and I believe the cost is around HK$20K - not cheap either obviously (prob because it is not commonly done). sorry can't be more helpful... there are other threads on this forum wrt circumcision, fyi. do a search!
 
we were considering it and dr dawkins, our OB, told us it would cost HK$20,000 for a pediatrician to do it at the Matilda... not sure about POW.
 
We had friends pay HK$10,000 a year ago to have baby circumcised in private hospital. The baby was born in public hospital and later circumcised in private hospital.

We opted to have our son circumcised abroad (religious reasons) at 4 weeks and that was too late; if had another boy (just had a daughter) would do at birth.
 
Wow, thats alot more than expected, mmm might be best to "pop" home and have it done there.

Our son is 18 months old,he was born at the Adventist Hospital and Dr Rulin Foung did his procedure on the fourth day.She came highly recommended and did a fantastic job.
It cost HK$5000.
