Oh, I'm such a loser! Have been taking a little computer break for a week or two--good for my sanity!--but totally haven't been part of this discussion. I would still love to join you ladies on Friday but if people have already done their planning and it's too late to add another person I totally understand. Cara, thanks for your work in organizing this and sorry to make your job harder!

So sorry to cancel at short notice but I have come down with a stomach bug and have been throwing up for two days now so will not be able to make it tomorrow... don't want to pass it on. Apologies for the short notice and I hope you all enjoy.

given that we are going to be receiving such high amounts and rum balls dont' keep too well, i will make amish ginger cookies, i think.

my kids and i have already made & decorated sugar cookies, and i am looking forward to sampling everyone elses specialities tomorrow.

i picked up some snickerdoodles, courtesy of bloominginhk who cannot join us tomorrow! hers are in plastic bags, too. no problem!

the more the merrier! (mmmm.... don't know if they'll make it to you all tomorrow! they smell so yummy!)

i made all the dough last night, put it into the fridge ready to roll out today... FROZEN SOLID!!!! i'm now waiting for it to thaw sufficiently for me to roll! glad i made it home in good time today or else i'd be up all night!

kids have been begging to help decorate the cookies, so you are all forwarned.. i've no idea what the finished products will look like....
 
hi since i didnt get your replies, not sure if i can join....maybe next time then. btw, my friend organized a cup cake workshop this month for mom & kid, anyone interested?
