christmas baking exchange?

Re dates, let us know! My son turns two on the 8th of December so we'll probably have his party on either Sun. 6th or Sun. 13th and wont be able to make it on those days -- where do you think we should have it?
 
i think we could do the exchange in central somewhere, but i don't mind doing it at my school in tsing yi... don't know how convenient it is for anyone, though...

I am free any day to meet up and will probably be baking flapjacks but am considering making small christmas puds but not sure just yet.
 
Well I'm still interested though not quite sure what to make yet.... my fav cookies are peanut butter with either Hershey kisses or jam but I know that might not be the best due to allergies. Let me know what you all think.

Though I cannot exchange on the 12th, sorry Saturdays are not my friend. :) I'd be happy to pass my cookies on to you Cara if you don't mind.
 
not a problem, blooming... if we can't do the 12th, we could do 5th? but it would have to be after 4pm as i work until 3:45.

Is weekdays not possible? like bloominginhk, Saturdays are not good timing for me. but i'll see, depends on where and what time? will it be in your school? convenient for me as i live in lantau.
 
i don't mind weekdays at all... i assumed everyone would prefer saturday... i actually prefer weekday, too!

i don't mind it being at my school... will have to be an afternoon. i'll check my schedule tomorrow and let everyone know when i'll be working.
 
OOh can we please do the 5th? 12th is the day before my son's birthday party...and us being able to come will really depend if our helper has arrived by then or not..

of course all you ladies are welcome to come to the birthday party instead with your bubs and I don't have to stress over party food hehehehe :P
 
The 5th works for us too. Weekdays late afternoons are possible.

Nashua852 - Could always swing by and drop off some cookies at your place for your party! We always bake too many! A bit gungho... last year had to give my students the Christmas tree cupcakes! YL is just round the corner from work.
 
if people prefer weekdays, what about the 4th?

i have to work on the 5th until 4pm, so it might be a little late (also hard to get home to pick it all up and then head out again)...

4th is good for me. Prefer somewhere in Central.

Also, what should i make? How about Xmas cupcakes or cookies?
 
4th is good for me too......of course, i prefer tsing yi, but maybe not convenient for everyone. Central is okay but should be in a place that we can chat and be "noisy". Elements?

Cara, 4th or the 5th good for me -- we're so far into the boonies location doesn't matter it'll still take a fair bit of travel time!

when we have final numbers, you make 1 dozen treats for each person. pack them up into some kind of container, attach the recipe. that will make the exchange much easier. don't forget a large bag or something to carry all your treats home!
