Chinese New Year Activities for kids?

Hi everyone! It's our first Chinese New Year and we are quite excited to be spending it in Hong Kong. Can any old-timers share what's good to do with kids (we have a 2 year old) during the week? All suggestions gratefully appreciated! Thank you:yeah2

on the second night, feb 8, there are fireworks in the harbour. there is also usually a parade on hk island. other than that, i'm not really sure, CNY is kind of like Xmas, to be spent mainly with family and friends. traditionally, the first day is spent with family and the second with friends.
