I am due to give birth in queen Mary early next year and I just wondered if, after the birth my daughter (8) will be allowed to visit her new brother/ sister. Does anyone have any experience of this?
Children under 12 are not allowed to visit the wards. Have heard parents holding up baby so older siblings can see them through the glass. If all goes smoothly you can ask to be discharged after 24 hours.
