child friendly clubs

we just joined ursc as we liked the pools there for the children, but its not very practical for us not being able to take the helper there at all. Is this quite common practice in HK, Does anyone know of any other more child friendly clubs??Thanks

The Hong Kong Cricket Club is very child friendly. You can't take your helper there though. The only club I have heard of which allows helpers to attend with children is the Aberdeen Marina Club. There might be others but that is the only one I know of....

we're also members of the usrc.
Agree w/sherwes - clubs generally don't allow helpers. Country Club does as well as AMC. There may be a few others.

country club allows helpers, but not at the poolside....if you are ethnically Chinese then the Chinese Recreation Club allows helpers everywhere...also mobile phones! :)

Okay, just curious:

If you have a Chinese amah and you're ethnically Chinese, you can waltz into these clubs without anybody questioning you about bringing your "helper" in with you. They'd just assume that she's a relative or a friend.

But if you have an FDH (Filipino, Indonesian, etc.), you're not allowed to bring them in.

Isn't that discrimination of sorts?

Does anyone know any good netball youth teams? My daughter is 11 and would really like to get her involved?
