Checkup price comparison

Hi,

Would you be able to know how much Dr. Patrick Chan and Dr. Ghosh charges per visit during pregnancy?

According to an old thread from 2008, Dr. Chan charges 850 HKD for a visit plus ultrasound but I assume the prices have changed since then.

I haven't seen those doc's but I think it would be interesting to gather together an indication of what all the docs charge in one recent thread!

I'll go first: I went to Central health 2009/2010 and was charged 950 for a checkup with ultrasound and a paediatrician appointment there is 790.

Genius, Rani!! I thought I'd seen one back when I was choosing a doc but then wondered if I'd imagined it. Is there one for paedatricians as well? Looking at the massive variations in prenatal charges I wonder if it's similar once they're born. It's nice to be able to make an informed choice.

Dr Ghosh is 800 for consultation plus 800 for ultrasound. Just checked my receipt from this week, so that's an up-to-date price.

I'm with Dr Chan and he charges 500HKD per appointment including an ultrasound scan.

I'm with Dr. Chan and the prices are still $850 including ultrasound.
The most expensive appt. has so far been $1700.

I've been to two private gynaes in HK. Dr Eric Lee in Prince's Bld, Central - Hk$700 consultation, HK$300 ultrasound. I liked him because he's very patient and doesn't rush you out of there.

On the recommendation of a Chinese friend, I visited Dr Ivo Chen in Tseung Kwan O (since I live there). Around HK$560 for visit, including consultation, ultrasound, urine and bloodprssure check up beforehand and antibiotics.
