I had a whirlwind of activities last week so I'm still trying figure out what to do. I had a first antenatal appointment on Hong Kong Island in one of the public maternity centers on Tuesday, where they found no embryo even though I'm supposed to be 12 weeks along. Then I had some bleeding on Wed, checked into Queen Elizabeth Hospital and had a D&C to stop the massive bleeding by Thurs morning. I'm actually feeling fine now, but I'm kind of wondering what the next steps are. I still have an ultrasounds scheduled for tomorrow from when I had the first antenatal appointment, but I'm almost certain there is no point in going there now right because I definitely should've passed out any fetal tissue and material by now. Do I need to cancel this appointment then? They also never told me whether i should have a follow up, but I think having a follow up would lead to a peace of mind for me and would allow me to answer questions about when to try again. So I'm wondering how I should go about it. I'm an HKU student so I usually just go to the school clinic, but I don't know if in this case I should attempt to make an appointment at one of the maternity centers for fertility type checkup? since I am mostly worried about making sure i"m ok, and ok to try to conceive again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
