Cataract in Babies

Dear All,

My neice, 5 months old, was diagnosed with cataract today. She need to have the surgery ASAP. Can anyone share their experience in taking care of babies with cataract?

She was hospitalised because of meningitis when she was few days old. Now that she is back at home for 2 months, she need to go back to hospital again for a surgery :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Finger crossed... i hope she will pass through this difficult year and grow as a healthy happy baby
 
All I can suggest is Cranio Sacral therapy after surgery to get over the trauma as well as "smooth out" all the fascial tissues and "realign the meridien". Wishing her the best of luck, poor child.

Do you know where can the therapy be done best?
She is using the public system right now, which require a lot of long waiting.
 
There is Amy Mon at Watchdog, she is v good. There are others like Caroline Rhodes and Carla, who does IMT + CST (cranio sacral therapy). Alice Tsang of Elite, she is an OT as well as CST. And various people around.
