Carseat for an 8-month-old

Hi moms and dads,

I'm looking for a new carseat in Hong Kong for my bub who is turning 8 months soon. Her up-to-6-month-old carseat is way too small now.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

So many choices. I love the Maxi-Cosi Tobi. We also have a Britax First Class. We had that from 6months as a reverse seat that we have now turned to be forward facing, which I prefer as I can see bubs when driving.

Both are good for about up to 40lb.
Shop around and perhaps post again when you've narrowed your choice.

Thanks for the pointers, kashismum! I guess my fear is getting one which is of inferior quality and unsafe (possible recalls and whatnots). I think I'll be able to avoid that by going for the not-so-new models.
