Cantonese Playgroup?

Hello,

I would like to start going to a Cantonese speaking playgroup with my 8 month old son. I am not a cantonese speaker so are there any groups anyone knows of that welcome expats? I would like it to be a structured group, hopefully not crippling expensive :-); any recommendations greatly appreciated

it's okay, i am starting my own and have found a great Playgroup leader who is cantonese and speaks English perfectly. She is lovely and already runs these groups in Sai Kung. Just $200 per session and now i'm waiting for people to sign up - anyone interested?? The venue will probably be in central i think but open to suggestions ...very exciting ...

Now if anyone else has an interest in learning cantonese with their little one and meet some other mums at the same time please let me know, looking forward to it !
 
Hello! I am very very new on geobaby and not yet even in Hong Kong yet but trying to prep myself!!! Would love to have some info on your playgroup! Please feel free to pm or whatever suits! I'm aware that things have probably started already....

You should try KiddieCanto. It has a very enthusiastic and engaging teacher and playgroups in Central. They have a website you can check.

I am interested in joining as well. My son is 9 months old and would love for him to join some playgroup. Don't mind if it's Cantonese, Mandarin or English. I live in Yuen Long but flexible to travel to central too.
