Cantonese Playgroup in Mid-levels

Hi there,

Another mum and I (with 9/10 mths old babies) are thinking of a Cantonese Playgroup in Mid-levels area. Initial thought of frequency is by-weekly. Any other suggestions are welcome. Any mum out there interested?

I'm the other Mum!!! We want our babies to get to meet other Cantonese speaking babies. I find that because my helper is Filipino, I end up speaking English most of the time.
 
Great! We plan to meet at Conduit Road, and can take turn meeting at different places subject to availability. My preference is Tue or Wed afternoon. How abt others?
 
hi! i'm visiting hk for 2 months with my 8.5 month old son. would love to join your playgroup and meet some moms and babes in the area.
 
Hi Naughtybirdie you are very welcome to join us. How abt we start next Tue? I will probably be away in the first week of Sept. Milkmonster you may join on 4 Sept. Is it OK to all moms?
 
Sounds good! Naughtybirdie and MilkMonster, you are both Cantonese speakers right? (just checking!! LOL!)

OK if at my place, then we are full for now. We dont have that much room but I guarantee you we have PLENTY of toys ahahhahaha
 
last Tuesday was great! We will have another playdate on Tuesday 4 September. A couple more babies are welcomed to join, with Moms speaking Cantonese

Sure you can! Your baby will be a bit young, but at least us Mums can talk in Cantonese. (the baby ranges we have is 9 to 11 months) I remember the 4 month age fondly... easy to transport (not too heavy), lots of sleep and if you are breastfeeding, so easy!
 
Hi, my baby girl is 5.5 months and I would love to meet up other mums in the area too. when is the next meeting?

Sure you can, just as long as we speak Cantonese. :) I will pm you both my address.

Hopefully in the coming weeks, we can take turns visiting each others homes :flower:
