Can you wear contact lenses during c section at Matilda?

I'm pretty sure the answer to this is no, however, my husband accidentally smashed my eyeglasses to bits last night by stepping on them. Because of the holiday (and my limited mobility at the moment) I'm having trouble finding someone to make up a new pair of prescription glasses before my c section on Wednesday. I'm blind as a bat normally and would really like to see my baby when she comes out! Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Unsure of policy at Matilda, but you normally would not be allowed contacts during any surgery. Best to check with them. Good luck with everything!

I had a c-section at the Adventist and I wasn't allowed to wear contacts.

I was able to wear my contacts at matilda and I too had a c-section. They asked me if I wanted to keep them in and I said yes. Maybe it depends on your doctors.

i had a c-section at matilda in 2005 and was allowed to wear my contacts.

I had c-section at Matilda Oct 2006 and was able to wear my contacts.

I just got home from the Matilda. I was able to wear my contacts during the C section. They also said no makeup and nail varnish on the website, however, I also unintentionally wore lipstick and took my chances with then nail varnish on both fingers and toes. Not a peep about the varnish either!
