Can you eat Mayo during pregancy?

I really feel like a sandwich for dinner tonight...does anyone know if it's safe to eat mayo?

Commercial mayo should be fine. Homemade mayo has raw eggs.

Thanks so much ladies. I have read them too and a bit more relaxed now. I am going to see if i can get kraft brand from the supermarket for tonight...it's really difficult to find the stuff i want exactly the same as back home in sydney...oh well i guess that's life

Mayo should be fine, but if you're using lunch meat it is not recommended due to the risk of listeriosis.

really funny... first pregnancy, when i was finally able to eat, i tried to follow all of the "what not to eat" things...

second pregnancy... i darn well ate whatever i fancied.
