Hi All,

I live near Tung Chung MTR. As the public hospital is very far from here, do you think I can call ambulance to take me to hospital, when I start feeling any pains?

I worry about taking taxi;
- first not sure if it will be convenient in the pain or not.
- not sure if I will be able to wear seat belt or not.

Be aware that an ambulance will take you to your *nearest* A&E - regardless of whether it has a maternity ward.

Usually it takes a while for contractions to get going and for it to be painful. So you should have time to get in a taxi. My dr was waiting for my water to break, and once it did I still wasn't in any pain. I took a shower had breakfast, and then made my way to hospital after a couple of hrs.

Aquarian is right, the ambulance will take to you to the closest hospital and it may not be the one of your choice.

Good luck!
