I have consistently used one for my helpers, but they only handle Indonesian helpers. Not sure if thats what you are looking for.....

I hired all my helpers from this agency. I can't say they are ALL capable and pleasant, but they/the agent are at least honest about the helpers, their strengths and shortcomings. I would say they know the helpers quite well, and those who they don't know that well, they would be honest about it. I have interviewed a number of their maids, and I have seen more than I like than dislike.

But recently there is a shortage of local helpers, so you may need to hire fromm overseas. But I know for sure that the agency is run by an indonesian chiense family who flies back to Indonesia etc to see the helpers for themselves.

Arrow Agency

Hello, I have just mentioned this agency in another post actually but I will quickly tell you about them again. There is one in Kowloon called Arrow, run by an expat couple. They are linked to a church (maybe it is the Baptist if I recall) They seem very nice. I have begun enquiries with them but have not hired yet as I am still too far away to needing a helper just now. But I will consider them. The man's name is Allan. He responded very quickly to my email with very helpful info. I'll see if I can find the link for you as I can't remember it off hand, it is a strange address. Maybe you can google them too. They do not charge the helpers an agency fee, they have the helpers go to a training school and they have them sit an exam. So far , they seem decent to me.
