Calculating delivery costs....

Hi there, my Wife and i are expecting baby girls (Twins) in June.

We expected high costs but we were very surprised to see that the delivery costs provided by the private hospitals that we contacted were actually LOWER than the Doctor fees quoted by the Clinic that where is based our obstetrician.

Could anyone advise if this is fréquent?

We have observed private room packages at around 60-100k HKD with C section.

But our Doctor is charging us HKD 111k for the delivery....

Maybe we picked the wrong Doctor. Could you make recommandations?

Unfortunately Dr's fees vary depending on your room type. So with a private room you can expect to pay close to double. This includes paediatrician and anaesthetist fees too. Expect to pay another $15-20K for multiples.
