How long should I wait to concieve again after a caesarean birth ?

You should ask your Dr., but I have a 1yr old and I am 3mths pregnant. I had a c-section, we started trying when my baby was 6mths old.

i hade 2 c-sections almost exactly 2 years apart. (one born feb 12, 2005 and the other feb 6, 2007). it seemed ok to me. personally, i wouldn't want them any closer together. but others love having it all "over and done with" sooner. i would consider a third, but it would not be as soon after as my second was. i'd maybe try to have 2.5 years between them.

I had 2 c-sections 16 months apart. Absolutely fine. Recovery quicker 2nd time.

i, too, recovered MUCH faster the second time round.

I just asked my Doctor the same thing yesterday because I just had a c-section (my daughter is now 10 weeks old). She said minimum 4 months to try to conceive again. I personally think 4 months is too soon.
