Buying HPTs & OPKs in HK

Hello Girls,
I'm a bit of an "active" TTCer if you know what I mean. I love to have a few packets of OPKs and Home pregnancy tests (HPTs) around the house so I can test whenever I want to.
I went to watsons and it seems that HPTs only come in single packets??!! They also seem pretty pricey.
Is there a cheaper way of buying OPKs and HPTs in larger packets for cheaper in HK?
Thanks,
Jane

If you get the own-brand HPTs in Watsons & Mannings, they are cheap at around $35/ea. They worked well for me.
Sorry, don't know what an OPK is - something to do w/ovulation?

I got the Wastson's brand of OPKs and they were pretty cheap, comes in 2 in one pack. They are similar to the dollar store generic brands sold in the US. I also got them at my OB's office, he sells the same generic brand at $30 per OPK and HPT. Perhaps your OB's office sells them too?

I bought these really cheap ones on the internet from Canada got by airmail. But they were the cheapest type (strip type - works just as well). I bought like 60 OPKs and 20 HPTs as a bulk set (can't really remember).

I hear some TTCer using a OPT call David OP stick. It's pretty cheap, like few bucks / test. But i'm not sure where to get it, if you want it, i can ask....the girl selling it in some other forum.

Thanks heaps for all your replies. I'll ask my ob/gyn next time I wander past that way and see if they sell them.
I've also found a good Australian website that sells the internet cheapies for free and doesn't cost alot to post here so I might just go with that.
Thanks again,
Jane

i think there is a diff between the cheaper and the more expensive HPT kits. I was testing all the time and I do remember someone telling me the more expensive ones are more sensitive so if you want to find out really early, the more expensive ones do a better job.

with ovulation kits i used maybe baby. i think there are other brands in the market that are similar to maybe baby. however have not really seen them in hk.

I used the cheap type HPT and was able to get a positive result 14 days after conception (able to calculate cos it was an assisted conception). So I think that is quite quick.

Hi, I have been trying to conceive for a long time, I used to buy those ovulation testers in Watsons, cost a fortune. A few months ago, on a trip to China I have found that David ovulation testers selling in the local drug store, much much cheaper, I bought one box of 100pcs, only cost a few hundreds dollars. If anyone wants some, I can share with them, just send me a PM. I guess it will take me a long time to finish the 100pcs.
