Bupa Pediatricians - which one is good?

Hi! A two part question here..

1) When delivering at a private hospital, it says that Pediatrician costs are outside of the "package". I'm slightly confused, would this be the same pediatrician that would see the baby going forward for all their vaccinations and checkups OR is this person only playing the role for the post delivery exam?

2) There were a few posts recommending pediatricians that accept Bupa - but the doctors do not appear on the list anymore. Does anyone have experience with any of the following drs?

If you are delivering in a private hospital, then a Pediatrician will be requested to visit baby for a check up. It is good idea to identify who you would like to use as a Pediatrician, and make sure they will visit the hospital you plan on delivering at. Pediatrician costs are approx $4-6K. I think a few Mums have said they didn't call a Pediatrician and their OBGYNs did the check up. Best to speak to your Dr and see if this is the case. If not, am sure he will recommend someone to you.

Thanks Rani, we're going to check with our OB to see if she can do the check. I looked up the names in the directory and unfortunately, it doesn't look like any of the drs listed accept Bupa anymore.
