British Passport for Baby - Recent Processing Times?

Hi

I've submitted all the paperwork by courier and have had my credit card charged (12 Oct) for the application. The Consulate website suggests it could still take at least 6 weeks from card being charged.

Today received back the supporting paperwork.

Anyone had recent experience to share on processing time for child passport?

I'm keen to book our first family trip to Thailand in 6 weeks and want an idea whether likely to have passport ready in time.

fyi - update

Passport just arrived - exactly 2 weeks after credit card charge and about 3 weeks after I posted application off.
