It is hard the first few times, when your baby is still little and you need to see what you are doing, but as they get older and you are more comfortable latching quickly it is easy. I find in HK I just fed whereever I was becasue there aren't that nmany BF rooms, and when there are for some bizarre reason there will be random oeople sleeping in there or sitting in there, people alone with no chidlren!! In Canada I tended to go to nursing rooms. I have not really had any negative expereinces BF in HK, other than one time 2 very old men stared at me in Mc Donalds, but I didn't let it bothered me, I fugured they had probably never seen anyuone BF before. The people most bothered by my BF in public were my MIL and husband, always trying to keep me covered up, but I didn't really care that they were bothered, and did what I had to do, in fact I didn't really care that I was covered and did so only for them. When I was by myself, I didn't use a cover, I could never really get the hang of it, it was always in the way.
