Breastfeeding in public

Did anyone get any rude comment for breastfeeding in public in Hong Kong?

Never, people usually look away when they see me breast feeding, both men and women.

Nope never had any trouble at all. The only problem was me feeling so self-conscious. It was like the whole world was looking at me, but no one was.

It is one of the sad contradictions of British culture that many people think breastfeeding in public is somehow "indecent" yet they are quite happy to have "lads mags" with topless 16 yr olds on the cover at eye level in the supermarket. No wonder breastfeeding rates in the Uk are so woefully low, despite it being a woman's legal right to feed in public.

I am glad this woman decided to draw attention to this issue.
