Breastfeeding and the Flu!

Hi all

Im currently express breastfeeding my 3 month old and have come down with a nasty cold/cough/sore throat. Anybody knows what medication i can take to make me feel better. Im quite miserable!

I just went through 2 weeks of the same thing, and am also BFing. Depending on your symptoms, you may need to see a GP for antibiotics.

If it is just a cough, you can take Robitussin DM, that is safe while BFing. Nurofen and Panadol as well depending on your symptoms.

Calpol (UK) is the same as tylenol I think. I took it while I was bfing and had a fever. You should also just check with your doctor like jaetee said too.
