Breast specialist

Hi mommies...do you know any good breast specialist in HK Island? I think i have a lump on my RB which wont go away, seen a few GP who felt its just normal engorgement but i know it isn't cos no matter how long i nurse + pump the hard part wouldn't go away. i would like to consult a breast specialist to do a scan to get a peace of mind. Thanks!

I haven't been in myself but the breast cancer society of HK do screening. So I'm sure they would have specialists that can check what it is. (not saying its cancer but better to check)

Sometimes a lump due to engorgement doesn't go away just by pumping and feeding.... Do u do heat compression and massage before you feed and pump? And massage while you take a hot shower? I had a lump that didn't go away for awhile too but eventually did..

But of course if you gut tells you it's something else then good idea to check it out

You should definitely go to a gynecologist to get your lump checked out.

You can try Dr Hedwig Wong at the HK Adventist Hospital. They have a breast health package where you can get a mammogram, ultrasound and consultation. You can also just make an appointment for a consultatio I think. Dr Wong is a breast cancer specialist.

Dr Wong is female. She is only at HKAH one day a week, so best to make an appt ASAP.
