I can think of yoghurt, fruits, muffins, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes. Not that the boy would eat healthily every day though. Sometimes he doesn't eat anything at all...
Hi Ariel,
I use Annabel Karmel's recipes for just about everything. In her complete baby and toddler book there are sections on breakfast. I like this book becuase it gives you a variety, though I have to say that my son just loves weetabix with banana.
On top of their milk, my 3 and 1 year old gets an egg on Monday, Wed and Fri. Tuesday and Sat is yoghurt with ground almonds sprinkled in it. Thursday is Sweet Potatoes and Sunday is Cheerios with Brown Rice Milk. They also get bread on top if they want.
My son is now so sick of oatmeal, that we've had to limit that to maybe once a week at the most, the rest of the time, we alternate with applesauce, chinese steamed buns, pancakes, yogurt, or bread with cheese.
When my daughter was a toddler her favourite meal was Spaghetti Bolognese. She was happy to eat it at anytime so we often had it for breakfast, especially if we had a fully morning in front of us. I know that it doesn?t sound like a traditional breakfast food but she liked it and it was easier than trying to get her interested in something she wasn't keen on.
