Breach presentation and due to deliver at QMH

I just had a scan at the Tsan Yuk and found out that the baby is currently breach.

I am planning to do all I can to get it turn naturally, as I'm only 32 weeks, but if it remains breach at full term do Queen Mary always stipulate a c-section?

Has anyone recently had a vaginal birth with a breach presentation at Queen Mary?

Isn't that kind of a no-no these days?My sister-in-law(a medical doctor) witness a breech vaginal delivery where the head got stuck, baby in distress and them having to break the women's pelvis to ge the baby out.

My first was a frank breech, never turned and I was advise to have a section.Actually my doctor said I would need to find another doctor if I decided to try and deliver naturally.

My little girl was breech and I delivered at QM. They will offer the procedure to try and turn her (can't remember the name) and if this fails then you will be scheduled in for a c-section. As far as I know if you want to have a natural birth you will need to find a private Dr wiling to do this. I know Dr Gosh has done them before.

Sunrays, so the QM allowed you to trial of a vaginal delivery?

Or the turning procedure worked, then they alowed you have a vaginal delivery?

No, I had a scheduled C-Section. I didn't try the turning procedure for various reasons. I was pretty upset at the time as really wanted a natural birth, but it was the safest thing for the baby and at the end of the day that was the most important thing.
