Braxton Hicks contractions?

Hi

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and started experiencing hardening of my stomach about 3-5 times a day. It's not painful or regular just like tight knot that comes for 10 sec and goes away. From what I read it might be BH - anyone else experiencing this? Is 3-5 times a day quite frequent?

I am 32 weeks I also have this sensation about three times a day. It's like a leg cramp without the pain on my stomach near the belly button.

I just learned how to tell it from baby's kicks.
 
Mine started in my early-20s weeks - I was also really worried and thought the whole time that I would deliver pre-term (I didn`t and went to 38 weeks).
From what I read, around 22-24 weeks is when they really start. I think that some people must be more sensitive to them as well.

But I would also tell this to your doctor. More than 5 times a day might be worrying to them. Also if they have any regulary to them. When it happens, just take it easy and change whatever you are doing - if you are walking, stop. If you are standing, lie down, etc.

I liked the idea that it`s just our bodies practicing for the big day!
 
I think I have it around 20 something weeks although I did not know what it was exactly then. I remember my husband commenting then that my tummy become contorted and it look funny. Thanks for that. I talked to the doc and got some drugs just in case to calm them down. He wasn't too worried so I'm gonna try to relax too:)
 
Hi Mela, dont worry as I experienced the same thing around 20 weeks and im now 29 weeks and still get them. Especially at night when Im trying to sleep. Its just your body getting ready for labour!
