Booking at QE hospital

Hi everyone

Im so sorry if this has been asked before, i have looked and cant find any answers.
Im 8 weeks pregnant and am planning to go to QE to have my baby.

My OB has referred me already, do I have to book ahead for an appointment at QE or just turn up and wait? Wher do i go, Do i just go to the out patients?

Again, sorry for asking a question that may of been answered before

As I recall from my experience, you bring your referral letter from your dr to the Obstetric clinic, 4/F, Ambulatory Care Bldg (not attached to hospital). They will then give you an appointment booking for follow up appts. Here is the no. to the Antenatal booking enquiry 2958-6227 if you wish. You will need to bring ID (and your partner's ID as well the first time)

better go in the morning 9-10am, if not too many new register that day, you can have your first consulation with the nurse on spot.

noramlly, the first doctor consultation will be on wk 13-15. as QE is quite full now..

better book your oscar asap with PWH
