Anyone have birthday party at Bishop Lei recently? I would like to have the birthday party for my girl at there, pls share the experiences. Thanks!

we went there in july last year and the place is great as they have 2 play areas that u can set up for children. One is inside which has the tunnel and other soft toys for smaller children and then the outside terrace with the bouncy castle for older kids. On the terrace u can also have chairs and tables for parents. the food is served in the middle room. from what we saw quite a few people can be accomodated and the staff looked very helpful

Best of luck

Neha,

What was the food like? I wanted to do tasting before we committed to a party there but they won't let us. Was the food ok?

food is ok but u have a lot of choice and is quite reasonable. and basically at the kids afternoon party the food is all snacks. the party that we went to had some pasta, finger food, hot dogs and some chinese dish.

I think they have rest that u can order food and decide.

We've got quite a few adults coming so I want to be sure that the food is tasty! I've been to some parties where there was a good vibe but the food has been really bad and even though it's just snacks, I don't want anyone walking away commenting on how crap the food was! I wish we could at least try it so I know it's edible!!!

It was not the best but edible sure. One of our friends was also thinking her sons birthday there but as she was vegetarian she didnt have much choice.

U can ask them to just rent u the room and service and u get the food catered from someplace else.

We did our sons 2nd birthday at Wise kids and had the food from Shamrock. It was great and everybody loved the food.

Oh, I'm glad you said that as it's Shamrock I wanted to go with! We've got kids from different age groups. Will that work if we did a party at Wisekids? We've got a provisional booking there at the mo. Bishop Lei won't allow outside catering. Would you recommend Wisekids over Bishop Lei or is that a daft question seeing as Wisekids is where you held your son's birthday. My daughter will be one, btw, but we have kids attending ranging from 1-11. Thx for your advice, btw.

wise kids is the best place we found for our 2 year old and the staff there is unbelievable. They set up everything for u, they even clean up everything u dont do anything. They give our return presents just in case u forget. It is a great place to have a stress free birthday party. We had some kids older in our party but sme came later and some were ok with being in the playroom. I feel that the playroom ha enough for all kids to do.

They also put out some toys at the party venue for the kids to play with. They do all the decorations.

Shamrock u can order snacky food as well as hot. We didnt take their package of birthday parties but ordered dishes individually. U can try their food but if u order one dish that u have to pick it from their office, but we had tasted their food at another party and quite liked what we ate

Ok, one more question. The lady I spoke to said there was 1.5 hrs of sessions and 1 hour party time. What do adults who don't have children do for the first 1.5 hours and will the age groups be broken up into different sessions? The lady i spoke to didn't really get my question. I'm hoping you do!!! I want to go check it out this weekend but I'm travelling in a couple of days time so short on time. Your advice will help me decide whether or not to go there this w/end or go to BL.

What time do u want the party ? They have 2 sessions in the afternoon.U have playsession which starts at 2 and ends at 3.15 and u ca have the party following that or u can have the session which starts at 4.00 and ends at 5.15 and then followed by the party.

Adults can sit in the party venue and just chatting or u can have some snacks/drinks that they can enjoy.

No all the kids in your party have to be in 1 session only

Call and speaka to Apple or June, Benny is the manager but she is there only on Monday, Wednesday, Friday in the mornings.

The above play session time I gave u on the weekends. Weekdays u have to check

Hi Karen,

Not sure if you're still thinking of Bishop Lei. If so, they won't allow outside catering, unfortunately.
