Birth Announcements for April-June Mums

Yes, congratulations from me too!!!! Uhh, I hope I can announce soon too... how is it going with the baby at home? Do your little new family member settle good? How do you cope with your new challenge?

Had been busy with the new baby. :) Thank you for all the warm wishes. My toddler is still trying to adjust to the new baby.. (She's happy to be an older sister though). As for Jared he's settling in quite well. He's a real champ! He doesn't cry a lot and he feeds well. Actually you'd be filled with too much joy that you'd take on each challenge with a smile. Hope to hear your new announcements as well. Looking forward to mum and baby group meeting soon as well. Good Luck to everyone!

No more births since April? Wow! I'm hoping my little boy will make an appearance in the next week or two, but he seems determined to stay floating as long as possible. I foresee some long walks in my near future. :-)

Hi everyone,

Little Harry was born on 4 May!! Forgot to announce it on this thread :flower:

We are doing well and Harry has settled in nicely at home.

We look forward to the next mums/mums to be and baby get together.

Congratulations!
Glad to hear that you and baby Harry are doing well.

Also looking forward to next mum and baby gathering.

So my due date is here, and no sign of baby coming... Doctor says he hasn't even dropped yet! This has been such a great (physically) pregnancy that I'm not uncomfortable or anything, I'm just really impatient to meet him! What can I do to bring labor about sooner? I know about walks and sex, and I've been doing the walks and sex is out of the question, so what else can I do?

Try foot massage! It worked wonderful for me! I was 6 days overdue!! All the walking, the sex, the papaya, the daily Curry didn't help, but the foot massage!
Good luck!

Bethany Ka Yan was born on the 19th of May by Emergency C-Section at UCH.

Both mother and baby are doing well and looking forward to returning to England.

My Lucas was born last night at Pamela Youde. He and I are both doing well, despite the long week of stalled labour. He weighed in at 3.2 kilos, so a small baby for my family, despite being 6 days overdue. I think it was finally the foot massage that did it, as I got the massage Friday evening and went into full blown labour by midnight. He was an easy delivery and I am up and walking around, much to the consternation of my nurses. Looking forward to a mums and baby meet up later this summer!

Hey blingdiva how are you? No hair loss for me yet but I've been told by all my friends that it will come, it is just a matter of time....

Yes :frown:

It seemed drastic at first but has slowed down now. Luckily my hair doesn't appear thinner and the length is still there so it's quite bizarre!!

Hello Ladies,

i haven't posted before, hope i'm doing this the right way.

i'd announce the birth of our son Ethan Alexander Schaap born 27 May 2009. He weighted 2.7 kg and is a picture of health at 4 month old.

Would love to get to know more Mums based in HK particularly Clear Water Bay, are there any out there who'd like to get together for a coffee morning in the area or central?

Let me know :-)

Jas Schaap

Hi, I have a 6 months old boy (born in April) and I am looking for a Baby/Mothers group in Happy Valley, Central, Causeway Bay etc. Otherwise for some mothers willing to meet up with babies sometimes. Could be for a walk in some park or coffee together. Let me know if there are some mums up to it around the area, I live in Happy Valley.
