Best scooter for a toddler?

Hi everyone! Our son will be two and a half soon. Want to get him a scooter as a 'present' from his soon-to-arrive sibling. But quite clueless as to which one to buy - grateful for all suggestions as to what might work/not work. Please let me know if your kids of a similar age have them and if so where you bought them and what's important to look out for. :thanks

we bought ours from It's Magical in Lee Gardens, but in hindsight it's a little too old for our then 2.5 year old. It's good, and will come in useful, but when he's a little older. It has two wheels at the back & one at the front, which makes it a bit wobbly on turning. Should have bought one with 2 wheels at the front & 1 a at the back making it more stable at the front. They sell ones like that at Bumps-to-Babes.

Thank you!

so much, Katboo, that's very helpful. Will try to get one that's as stable as possible now that I know what to look out for!

I live in Bel Air and recently saw a little boy riding this 'skuut' scooter. I thought it was awesome too.

Skuuts are fantastics, but they are bicycles not scooters unless I'm thinking of the wrong one.. Would love to be able to buy them here - you can get them in Australia too. Any chance of shopinhk getting a bulk shipment into HK, Rani? I'm sure you'd have lots of takers! Let us know if its possible!

Hi Spockey

They have a good website with retailer information so might be best for you to have a look and see what will be close to where you are going..

Hope helpful - I'm a big fan :yeah2

Oops! I've left this really late and now bumps to babes are out of stock of the 2 wheels in front/1 at the back type of scooters. Won't be in from the UK till August!!

Anyone seen a 2 wheels in front/1 at the back scooter for sale anywhere in HK? Toys R Us doesn't have them either. Silly silly me, why did I leave this so late :-( Baby's due in two weeks exactly so any suggestions most welcome!

:thanks
