Best Maternity Insurance Coverage in HK

What is the best maternity insurance in HK?

We currently have AIA. I called about their maternity benefits and the silver plan covers $25K for vaginal delivery and $40K for c-section. The Gold Plan is $39,250 for vaginal and $65K for c-section.

Both of these plans do not seem like a lot of coverage considering it costs OVER $100K to delivery privately in HK. Is there supplemental maternity insurance one can get?

I know IHI gives US$10000 per pregnancy and that is supposed to be top already...actually that covered 80% of my delivery. only with problems with my pregnancy did the final cost come to HK130K....I delivered in a private room in Matilda.

I just signed up with HealthCare International on the Premium Plan and they cover routine pregnancy costs up to USD$25,000 and cover 100% of all costs associated with pregnancy complications.

I did a lot of research into different insurance plans, and HealthCare International offered the best maternity benefits by far.

Having just had a baby via c-section without health insurance, I am wanting to be fully covered for the next pregnancy and the majority of insurance plans barely cover 50% of the costs which is ridiculous considering the premiums they charge.

I am paying about USD$230 per month and there is a 12 month waiting period before I can make a maternity related claim.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has put in a claim for Healthcare International and can give feedback on their service. Besides maternity benefits, they seem to have good comprehensive hospital and outpatient plans too.

I am just wondering if you've had the happy chance to make a claim on the HealthCare International? If so, which hospital did you use, and did you happen to? Does anyone know if insurance packages will reimburse for Annerley Midwives as well?

I think the best coverage for private hospital is A-plus. I rem it's about 20~k per year. More expensive if you want to cover hospital care in the USA.
