Best breast pump?

Hi, I'm looking to buy the best possible double pump, can anyone reccomend either the ISIS IQ Duo by AVent or the Medala pump in style?

I highly recommend the Medela Pump-in-Style. Have only ever used this, so I don't know how it compares with other brands, but I've used the Medela PIS with #1 and am still using it with #2. A worthy investment.

What's more, if you are going back to work, the Medela PIS comes with a cooler pack and bottles that you can use to transport the expressed milk back home. Very handy.

Breast Pump

Agree with Buckeroo. Medela is great.

Also, if you don't want to buy one, I think you can rent it from the hospital. When my son had to stay at the hospital because of jaundice, they lent me the hospital pump (I had my own attachment bottles) to pump milk to store (for his next meal time at the hospital). They returned my bottles when done.

Agree. Medela pump in style is great. Used it for number 1 and currently using it for number 2. I am working so the cooler bag and storage is perfect.

Bumps 2 Babes carries them. You can also get them from Meridian Hong Kong (google them); they're the distributor for Medela in HK.

Hi
does anyone know which hospital I can rent the Medela pump from? does anyone have the number?

cheers

To rent Medela pumps call this no. 29153388. This number is for CWB but they also have an office in Central.

Hi, I used the Avent ISIS IQ and had no problems with it. I found it quite handy that I could use it either as a manual or electric pump and also that I had a choice to either plug it in or use batteries. I also liked the fact that all of the Avent accessories (such as the breast milk freezing containers) fitted it.

Having said this, I have noticed though that midwives often recommend the Medela brand but haven't tried it myself.
