Belly belt / trouser extenders

I was really excited about buying this so I could wear my old clothes in comfort, however when I use them (unless I have a really long top or sweater on) it always just looks like my flies are undone - which of course they are - but it means that everyone just stares at my crotch all the time.

Has anyone found a way to use these in a more tidy manner? Or do you really just have to always wear very long tops?

I bought a few inexpensive tube tops (strapless stretchy singlets) and wore them like a belly band. Bunched up from my tummy button to below my bump which covered the open trousers. Much cheaper than the actual branded belly bands from B2B and meant I could have a few different colours. H&M and Zara have reasonable priced ones.

Excellent idea!

Tube tops definitely work and I got my belly bands from 9 months. I sometimes folded them down to cover the whole fly and it just looked like a second layer.

Hi Liquorice, I'm trying to sell a pair of khaki shorts and a pair of white capris from Old Navy. Both brand new. I couldn't wear them as I got the wrong sizes, american size 2. If you're interested, mail me and I'll give you further details and prices.
