Bathing baby in the winter

curious as to what other mums do in the colder winter months during bathtime to keep your babies warm. Do you first warm the bathroom up with a heater?

we used to put the heater in the bathroom for a few minutes. both of my underweight babies were born in early february...

Yup, heater in the bathroom. Or quick version, run hot shower before giving baby bath.

yes, heat up the bathroom before, baby bath should not take longer than 10 minutes, use body oil afterwards for the skin because it keeps the body temperature . body lotion contains to much water, what cools the skin temperature (better for summertime)...

i would never use baby/body oil on my baby... makes 'em too dang slippery! besides, it is only a matter of seconds from getting them out of the bath and wrapped in a towel, then dressed (we always put the towel on the floor and dried baby there and got dressed in the bathroom)
