Bank Account for baby

Hello all,

Anybody can advise on a good savings/long term deposit account for a baby? Have all the baby's red packet cash & planning to open an account as we already have the birth cert & docs ready

any advise on a particular account that i should consider?
 
You may consider the one from China Construction Bank, which is called Smart Kid Savings Account, it's integrated account which includes both HKD and RMB, and the best part I think is they offer a personalized ATM card every year so you can use your child's photo for it.

They have minimum deposit for annual fee waiver, which is around $5000, and I started a RMB deposit with this account as well.

The drawback is, you must have an account there as well, as told by the bank representative that the child account depends on the parent's one, to me there is no problem I just opened a new account too.
