Two main chain schools in HK.
1) Jean M. Wong School of Ballet - it has branches all over

Both schools put kids through their paces for RADA exams.
My daughter went to the Kowloon branch of the Carol Bateman school (The London School of Ballet in Mongkok). She enjoyed it, but because we just wanted her to have fun & weren't prepared to bring her to class twice a week, we eventually pulled her out. But that was because it didn't suit *us* (2 parents working full time).
I have neighbors' kids who go to Jean M. Wong & they are also happy with it.

My youngest started just before her third birthday and kept asking to go more often so we increased from once a week to twice a week. She is now five and a half and will be taking her first exam this summer. But I don?t think she realizes this yet ? to her it is just fun.
My eldest is 18 and has just been accepted for a dance degree in London. She loves to dance and perform. For her taking the exams has been part of her life but she sees it as an opportunity to perform and doesn?t get stressed about it.
One of the really nice things about this dance school is that they do performances. In fact last weekend they did a performance called The Ugly Duckling and my two really enjoyed it. The dancing was special from the tiny ones making the mistakes and occasionally waving to the older ones dancing on points and really looking like ballerinas. And the costumes were fabulous ? my youngest is nagging to play with it every day now.
The picture shows my two girls ? unfortunately the quality isn?t good because I took it from the programme.
