Hi there Stilli! We paid our babysitter $200 for 4 hours babysitting plus her shuttle bus tickets up and down to Parkview when we were staying there. We used her till our full time helper could start with us. She was a very flexible lady and if she sometimes stayed on 20 minutes extra wouldn't charge us for it as she felt bad that some of the time she was there our baby was asleep (hardly her fault!)
Of course it did get a bit expensive, but for us the main thing was to get someone who could commit to coming regularly twice a week at certain hours that we needed, so that our baby could get used to her -- In the end we felt that it was the right choice for us as Amy was so reliable, and all in all, was just amazing with our little boy.
