Baby wash & shampoo

Anyone used Gerber or crabtree & evelyn? Any suggestion on brands that have tried and is good for new born?

I've used burt's bees baby bee shampoo but found the aroma too strong. However, the baby bee bath soap is great. almost 100% natural. I however use it only twice a week since babies don't get dirty anyway.
 
I've been using Kiehls for over 6 months, and am not even half way through the bottles even though I wash my daughter's hair everyday.

I highly recommend both their shampoo and body wash. The great thing about the shampoo is that it is low suds.
 
We've been using Johnson & Johnson products on little Jeffrey since he was born 2 weeks ago.

We've been bathing him everyday, which is probably too much, but it is summer and he seems to like baths (he hardly ever cries) and I so enjoy bathing him

J&J contains BAD stuff!

look up your specific type. make sure to look at the report, don't just go by the ratings which are just relative. If you view the "Hazards of one or more ingredients" section you're almost certainly in for a surprise.

My daughter was very badly alergic to J & J products....she had all types of rashes...went to many docs...till my GP asked me to switch brads...he said he's met many babies alergic to J & J products...
 
try aveeno baby (available at healthquest). for the more expensive end, try cowshed (at joyce beauty/lane crawford ifc) or soin de fee at valmont or sasa. my baby has really sensitive skin & all worked well without strong odor. i tried mustela (someone gave me as gifts) & also the one from chicco. neither worked for my baby.
 
I used Mustela for all my 3 girls.... Love it! No strong smell, gentle to be used daily.

I have to switch to other brand (Pigeon) when they're older as the odor of their sweat, especially in summer, gets a bit unpleasant :biggrin:

armstroe: where can I find Kiehls for baby? Joyce?

benjy, you can find burt's bee in Manning stores. There's one in IFC and another at CWB that carries the brand.
 
healthquest in happy valley (yik yam street) or citysuper (causeway bay)- logon.

kiehl's baby - at kiehl's shop, across the street from times square, causeway bay. joyce doen't carry them anymore
