My bb is 6 months now and i think its the most cutie moment of a bb. so i want to go to studio to shoot this for memory. Any recommendation?

I like simple/natural photo style. thx

Thx! Rani

But their prices are too expensive for me.
I find one called "Baby Face Studio", their photos seem quite good and the price is reasonable to me. anyone try this before and any comments?
thx a lot.

B&B,

yes, baby face studio is a new BB studio, the price is reasonable. The location is also convenience, at TST.

My friend just take photos there, her comment is quite good. She took her son (8 mths old) there around 1:00pm and take around 2 hours photos. baby face provided her the photo (a website link) at night.

Can you provide a link to baby face studio website? I am interested in getting my 3 and 1.5 years old to take some pictures. Thanks a lot!

Yikes, I'm no professional photographer, but I found quite a few mistakes in those shots that I can't imagine paying hard earned $ for them (cropped heads and torsos, off center or no composition, disembodied hands, etc). It seems they may have some "cute" costumes and a studio space, but the shots appear no different than what anyone could take with a disposable camera.

Before we took our shots, we looked at the portfolio and picked about a dozen unique shots that we wouldn't normally be able to take ourselves, this was from a selection of about 100.

I have taken photos there last sunday. Their services and photos are good and price is reasonable. $1480 (w/ $100 discount coupon from their web) for 50x4R, one photo album, 2 x 12R, 4x2R, one year free web-ablum and the digital files for all selected photos.

"cropped heads and torsos, off center or no composition, disembodied hands, etc." ???? have you click each image to view them individually? I do think their photos are quite professional at such price level. not like other bb studio, just provide stereotype angles and compositions, like mass production in factory.

As my husband don't want to post our bb's pic, attached a link of other mother's web-album and discussion for reference.

Yes of course I clicked on the website individual pics, that's the only reason I wrote. Here's what I mean: Click on Yin Shun's page 1: page 2 has some disembodied hands attracting the babies attention; page 4 has a the top of someone's head cropped on the bottom of photo; Click oTung Ting and Yin Yan page 1, there is 1/2 of big sister's body in the picture, page 5 the family shots Mom and Big Sis are leaning towards the center when there's lots of space left in the shot; lots of the shots the kids have the same expression, etc.

Anyways, I've got nothing against BabyFace of course, and I'm just an ameteur photog. Glad you did get your value for money.

OIC, i am just a bb mami and dont know photograh at all. thanks for sharing your advices. frankly speaking, for such price, i dont expect any such kind of bb studios will give me all 50 photos (its a hugo number comparing to those expensive studios) have professional feel.

In fact, 2 of my selected photos have some disembodies, but they have cropped it away for me. my husband also like photography and he also has no compliant on our photos. he hate other bb studio's stereotype composition/angles. he told me that it is not a must to place the subject at the center of the photos and this will make the photos look more....dynamic something...(i forgot). but i do argee with you, for the family photos, they should adjust the photos before forward to the client.

for the photo in Yin Shun's page 2 (no. 0034), i do think it is very interesting (from a mother's view), lot of hands/people cheeing up the bb. Upon grown-up and see it again, i think the bb will feel sweet and surprised. :)

My husband have almost compared all bb studios at such price level. (around 1k) He told me that only this babyface like a photog. studio and seems doing photography and not like others being a publishing factory. so, we went there.
