Hello
does anyone have a good photographer to recommend? I would like some good pics of my little one...which is only 3 months old so we need somebody familiar with babies!

I used F8 Photography Hong Kong or F8 Photography Portraits Gary was not expensive AND you retain copyright, get a disk with about 80 photos (in black and white, colour plus high res and low res for internet) and he came to us in DB (although I am sure he does studio too).

Let him know I sent you (his first customer in DB). I have a friend who also used him recently and was also very pleased.

Mine were not as young as yours but he did a great job all the same (my ID photo was taken by him!).
 
Rosa Tseng... woudl recommend her highly any day. We have got an overwehlming response on the snaps she took of us and our baby (son - 2 months) and niece (15 months).

Both me and hubby are not very photogenic so let's hope the little one is better than us :o))
 
votes both for ian taylor and rosa. ian doesn't live in hong kong, but he knows the city, he knows asia and he knows kids.

rosa is fabulous. friendly, approachable, creative, laidback, with a great studio or willing to come to you.
 
I found Ian and Venture rather arrogant and $$$$ wanting to charge a fortune for 'sitting' and a small photograph. They then kept all the images and I had to use them to purchase prints. I find this practice daylight robbery by photographers!
 
rosa charges 2500 for the shooting and consulting sessions. this is upto a group of 5 ppl.

she has various products - 8X10 prints are 890 each and then there are canvases and various size frames with 2+ pics etc etc. she can send you the list of you want.

she gives a cd of low resolution pics if you buy total of hkd 10000+ (which is quite easy given her pics)
 
I'd also like to throw my hat in the ring. I've shot photos of babies and children at home, in parks and at parties with very satisfied parents, there have been parents' recommendations on other threads in this forum. I will let you have rights to all the photos taken (edit and retouched of course) so you can print to your heart's content.

Yes Charles is good, the environment is very clean. with various setting for you to chose. you are free to bring your little ones' favourite toys & props there. most important, since Charles has a little boy whom almost 2 yrs old now, he's extremely patient with babies and how to capture their best moment. please quote me "Florence Choy - JCI Hong Kong" for special discount. he's a very good friend of mine;)

suchisingh, may i know for rosa's cd of lo-resolution pictures, what is the resolution? would i be able to go to the photoshop eg.fotomax to develop prints of acceptable quality? thanks.
